What we collect when you contact us
When you send the estimate form, we receive what you fill in.
That's your name, phone number, type of work, job site location, where the work is and how urgent it is. Drawings, specs or photos you attach come with it. We ask for all of it because we can't price a job without it.
The form also sends the address of the page you were on. That shows us what you were looking at.
When you call or email instead, we get your number or address and whatever you tell us about the job.
What we collect automatically
Other information comes in on its own.
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how people use the site. It records which pages are visited, the type of device and browser, and roughly where visitors are. It also counts form sends and taps on the phone number, so we can tell which pages bring in work.
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs: the IP address, the time and the page requested. The fonts are stored on that same host, so loading a page doesn't contact a font service like Google Fonts. The map on the site does come from Google Maps, though, so Google may record that visit.
We don't use call tracking, which means the phone number on this site is our own number.
How we use your information
We use what you send to answer you and prepare the estimate. After that, it's for scheduling and doing the work, and for normal business records.
The form reaches us by email through Web3Forms, a form service. That way the request lands with the person who prices the job.
Analytics shows us how the site is used. It doesn't show us who you are.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run the site and the form. Vercel hosts the site, Web3Forms delivers the form, and Google provides the analytics and the map. But we don't sell your information.
Drawings and photos you send are used for your estimate and your job, not for anything else. We will also share information when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics on this site
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell one visit from another, and Google Maps may set its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Analytics. The form still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep what you send for as long as the estimate, the job and our business records need it. After that, we delete what we no longer need.
Keeping your information safe
The site runs over an encrypted connection (https), and we take reasonable steps to protect what you send. No system is completely secure, though, so please don't send card numbers or passwords through the form. The form isn't built for them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have from you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email zoak@603weldinganderection.com or call (603) 660-2011, and we'll take care of it. Some records, like an invoice, we may still have to keep, because the business needs them for its books.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for businesses and adults. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
